I had to ask for quite a few check reissues when direct deposit mode of payment was not available, but eventually they did pay me. After the direct deposit facility was made available, the payments have been on time. More about their payment policies below. Before you receive your first check as a clickbank affiliate, you will have to generate sales that include sales made with atleast 5 or more different credit card numbers, including at least one Visa card and one MasterCard. PayPal and e-check purchases do not count toward the minimum. It is also required that the check balance reaches the payment threshold amount you have chosen in your account. The default threshold amount is $100 USD, which you can change. The minimum payment threshold amount is $10 USD and the maximum is $10000 USD.

Direct Deposit is not enabled until you receive 3 paychecks within 12 weeks - meaning you can only receive commissions using check sent through ordinary mail. No courier service is available unless the amount earned is $10,000. If you do not receive your check, you can ask for a reissue but everytime you ask for one, they will deduct $20 dollars from your earnings.

Update: As per clickbank news on December 15, 2009, now an account must first receive two paper paychecks in any time period (for international deposits, in any 90-day period) before it is eligible to enroll in direct deposit.

Commissions range from 1% to 75% and are determined by the publisher of the product. The minimum commission for a single sale is $0.25, and the maximum is $100.00. If you are able to sell a recurring billing product, you will earn commission for the life of the subscription.

The only mode of contact previously was through e-mail. Its only since 2009 that things have improved, with direct deposit enabled for more countries and even a toll free phone line.

You may have read about affiliates that earn thousands of dollars every month promoting clickbank products. However, it is quite competitive and unless you know how to effectively promote products you may find selling clickbank products to be not so easy. It is perhaps better to promote niche products that are new instead of trying to market a product that already has a lot of affiliates promoting it.
