Forex Robot World Cup

 

Forex robot world cup is a competition where various EA developers compete to find out the best currency trading robot among those competing. The robots are designed for Metatrader platform.

The first forex robot world cup (FRWC) started on September 20th, 2009 and lasted until November 25th, 2009. More than three hundred robot developers applied to get approved for the "world cup" competition - of which 24 were qualified to trade live. Initial deposit was $1000. The top three robots were:

  • LMD-Multicurrency by Drazen Ziskovic from Croatia. LMD-Multicurrency used short-term trend trading strategy to post a profit of 145.60%.
  • HiRIDER by Leslee Vernon Gouws from South Africa. HiRIDER used scalping strategy to report a profit of 88.11%
  • SuperVolcano by Manolito Gulla from USA. SuperVolcano used short term reversal strategy to profit 36.25%.

All top 8 robots that took part in the world cup (including the 3 stated above) including a new robot called "Fusion V 1.1a" will be made available to members. According to the FRWC homepage, Fusion V 1.1a supposedly gave a profit of 354.37% in 19 days. As more traders try out this robot, more reports about its profitability will be available.
