Do not join each and every "get paid to post" or "paid to shop" websites you can find online. Some of them will be just scams and joining them is simply pointless. The scams are similar to scams that happen in many online survey websites. For example - when you are about to reach the minimum payout value, they might delete your account without warning or they may not giving you enough opportunity to reach the payout limit, or any other stunts that they might pull off to avoid payment.

Most websites will pay you using online payment processors such as PayPal. E-gold and moneybookers are also used in some sites.

Get paid to post (paid to write):

Many websites pay you to post contents in their site. Others pay you to post or write articles, reviews or summaries in discussion forums, article submission sites, and even in your own blog or website. Examples include Mylot, Shvoong etc. You can also find a lot of 'paid to write' work at freelancing sites.

Get paid to play:

Unless you are a professional gamer or have the skills to be one, do not expect to earn big bucks by playing video games. Or you can become a games developer or a video game tester. However quite a few online gaming sites offer signup bonuses or other rewards. These sites give you the opportunity to play games online and socialize with other players. You can also earn by referring other players to these sites.

Get paid to shop:

There are companies that hire shoppers to review their business while posing as a customer. As a mystery shopper, you will be given the money to buy products, which means the product is yours to keep. In addition you will be paid for your time and effort. Some online sites offer rewards while shopping online.

Be suspicious of offers that are advertised using unsolicited e-mail (spam) as most of them may turn out to be scams.

Using Squidoo you can earn a share of the revenue earned from your articles or "lens". A lens is an easy-to-build, single web page that can point to blogs, favorite links, RSS feeds, Flickr photos, Google maps, your eBay auctions, CafePress designs, Amazon books or music and more. It is a site where you will get paid for writing abstract or summary of articles, books, thesis, etc. You can translate an abstract from its original language to a different language and get paid for it. Payments will be made using PayPal.
