| Surefire trading challenge is a competition where forex traders compete with each other to determine whose trading system is the best. The first of these challenges started with 569 forex traders and ended up with six winners,
who allegedly earned profit ranging from 156% to 2307% in 31 days. Only 3 of those 6 accounts were live, the other 3 were demo accounts. The maximum profit acquired on a live account was about 927% by a guy named Obiliza Manan from Malaysia.
Note: This article was initially made when surefire trading challenge systems were first released. Since then, new challenges have taken place with new traders competing to earn the most profit. In the first round of the 2010 surefire trading challenge (SFTC v2) each participant had to accomplish atleast 10 trades with the same MT4 platform starting with $1000 demo forex account in 30 days. The minimum lot was 0.1 and the maximum lots size including all open positions was 0.5. The top 20 of the first round were went through to the live trading round where they each had to trade in a $1,000 live account. The winner of the second round was one named Ahadani Abdul Ghani who made a net profit of 174.38%. Interesting none of the top 5 finishers of the first round could make a profit in the second round.
